The important thing to learn when cooking fish is not to overcook it. Cod is a white fish that cooks in about 15 minutes. It should be opaque when done and easily flaked with a fork.
INGREDIENTS
3 cod filets , skin off and cut in half
salt and pepper
GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE
1/4 c butter
1 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp. Cajun seasoning
- Heat oven to 400F, place cod in a 9×13 baking dish and season with salt and pepper
- Whisk together melted butter, olive oil, garlic, and Cajun seasoning
- Spread evenly over the fish
- Bake 15 minutes or until fish is opaque and flakes easily.
