Happy New Year!!! Many of us start the New Year with resolutions, sometimes they last the month, but usually disappear by February. However, that doesn’t mean you stop striving to be better, your best self! I want to share with you today four simple juice recipes that will detox your body and help you on your road to health. Juicers are great but if you don’t have one, a high-speed blender will do.
Cleanse# 1 GREENS
Ingredients:
- 2 cups baby spinach leaves (or 4 leaves of kale)
- 6 celery
- 2 large cucumbers
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 medium apples
- 1/2 inch of ginger root
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup parsley leaves
DETOXIFIER
- 2-3 medium large beets
- 6 carrots
- 2 medium apples
- 1/2 lemon
- 1-2 inches ginger root
VISION
- 8 large carrots
- 2-3 navel oranges
- 1/2-inch ginger root
- 1 inch turmeric root (optional)
SWEET CARROT
- 1O large carrots
- 2 medium apples
- 1/4 cup parsley (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Wash, prep, and chop produce.
- Add produce to juicer or blender one at a time.
- Serve cold over ice.
You can store the juice in glass containers, large Mason jars are good, for 7 – 10 days. Shake or stir well before drinking. Keep your body clean with these juices, the one simple thing you can do to promote good health this year!
