The cleansing tonic I will share with you today destroys bacteria and acts as an antiviral and antifungal. It will increase blood flow and lymph circulation throughout the body as well. This tonic is not new, it was used in medieval Europe during the plagues. It contains seven ingredients, garlic, onion, horseradish, ginger, hot peppers, turmeric, and apple cider vinegar.
Garlic is a natural broad-spectrum antibiotic. Unlike chemical antibiotics, which kill off friendly bacteria with bad ones, garlic targets the bad bacteria and increases healthy bacteria. It is also an antifungal and destroys pathogens and any disease-causing microorganisms.
Onion is related to garlic and acts similarly but more mildly. Together they form a dynamic duo to knock out bacteria.
Horseradish is a strong herb that is effective for sinus and lung issues. It opens up the sinus passages and increases the circulation in that area.
Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory and increases the circulatory system.
Hot peppers are the most potent circulation booster known. It sends antibiotic and disease-fighting properties of the other herbs to the area where they are most needed.
Turmeric reduces inflammation and clears infections inside the body. It also blocks cancer from developing and is helpful for those who suffer from joint pain.
The last ingredient is apple cider vinegar, I use Bragg’s Organic ACV. It contains beta-carotene, pectin, multiple vitamins, and the minerals potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorous, chlorine, sulfur, iron, and fluorine. Pectin is a fiber that helps reduce bad cholesterol and blood pressure. ACV also contains malic acid which fights fungal and bacterial infections.
Following is the recipe for this Super Tonic, it can be stored in a cupboard for long periods. Please use gloves to handle the hot peppers. No refrigeration is necessary.
SUPER TONIC RECIPE
INGREDIENTS
- 1 30oz. bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 cup chopped garlic
- 1/4 cup onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup Habanero peppers (or the hottest peppers you can find)
- 1/4 cup grated ginger
- 1/4 cup grated horseradish
- 2 tbsp. turmeric
DIRECTIONS
- Blend the ingredients for a couple of minutes
- Strain
- Pour the liquid back into the bottle
- Compost everything else
Uses for the tonic:
- Mix it with olive oil to make a salad dressing.
- For a sore throat, gargle in the mouth and then swallow.
- For a cold or flu, take 2 droppers full (a tablespoon) every two hours
- As a preventive measure, take 1 teaspoon twice daily, and build up to 0.5 to one ounce twice daily. Hold it in the mouth for a little bit and swallow. It can be diluted with water if you find it is too strong. Eat a few lemon or orange slices after taking.
The flu and cold season is here, not to mention COVID-19 is spreading rapidly. Arm yourself with this super tonic and be prepared to fight off invading bacteria and fungus.
