I saw this dish on TikTok and did not save the recipe. However, I do recall all of the ingredients, there are not many so wing it!
INGREDIENTS
- 6 thin chicken breasts
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 shallot or small onion (diced small)
- Italian seasoning
- Butter
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Fresh ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
1. Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in a medium skillet, season the chicken with Kosher salt, and ground black pepper, add the chicken, and fry for 2-3 minutes per side. If your chicken is thicker add more frying time.
2. Remove the chicken to a plate, and add the garlic and onion to the skillet, when the garlic becomes aromatic, add butter, enough to make a sauce. Stir lightly until the butter melts, and is bubbly, add the Italian seasoning and continue to stir until it is combined with the butter. Add more butter or seasoning as needed, the sauce should be golden.
3. Add the chicken to the sauce, and serve over your desired side.
