There are many food combinations that are beneficial for your health; however, it would be difficult to find one more beneficial in managing many disease processes than honey and cinnamon. Honey is produced in most countries around the world, it is best to use honey produced in the region you live in. Although it is sweet, when taken in the right dosage as a medicine, especially when combined with cinnamon, the results are powerful.
In the case of heart disease honey and cinnamon can reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol, possibly preventing heart attacks. Even if you have had a previous heart attack, this combo can keep you from having a second one. Regular use of cinnamon and honey strengthens the heartbeat. Instead of putting jelly or jam on your toast, make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder and spread that on your toast. As we age, we lose flexibility in our veins and arteries, and they get clogged. Honey and cinnamon also revitalize arteries and veins.
Arthur (arthritis) plagues many of us as we age. Drinking one cup of hot water with two tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of ground cinnamon powder may help. First and foremost be sure to use pure honey. I would suggest Manuka honey, the best as far as I am concerned, it is more expensive, but you know you have the real deal.
