Barron’s Answer
As part of the training, I received in getting my FPI license, the instructor had each student follow a subject and record their results. My wife and I were both in the class, so I drove, and she operated the dash cam. We went to the local mall and decided to pick the 10th customer as our bad guy. He came out, accompanied by a female, we assumed to be his wife. My wife got closeups of both of their faces and she also got a clear shot of the license plate on the gray SUV they were driving. The male drove as we followed them through the downtown area, always within 3 car lengths behind, and in the other lane. We were approaching the outskirts of town, but the car turned into a residential area by making a right turn. He immediately pulled into the driveway of the second house on the right, and we sped pass, before making a U-turn and speeding home. The recording was approaching 30 minutes as she filmed the final shot…of the Highway Patrol vehicle sitting in their driveway.
We could have followed them all day, without detection because most officers of the law are just as bad as civilians when they are off duty, they don’t pay attention to their surroundings.
There you have it

Wow, you would think that officers training would have him always alert to everything around him. I know as a retired SAPD officer Rod still never misses a thing – even the poor folks just going through their unobtrusive day! Lol.
You are right about that Sis. I have always been cognizant of my surroundings every since I worked in the jail system. Actually, even before that but more so after.
