This Taiwanese Three Cup Chicken dish is juicy and full of flavor. The best part is that it takes only 20 minutes to prepare!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 pound chicken thighs, drumsticks or a combination of chicken parts
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil or toasted sesame oil
- 2 inches of ginger root, peeled and cut into thin pieces
- 6 cloves of garlic, peeled
- 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dark sweet soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
- 1 bunch Thai basil leaves
INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat a pan or pot over high heat and add the sesame seed oil. Add the chicken and stir-fry until the surface becomes slightly crispy and golden brown.
- Push the chicken to one side and add the ginger and garlic. Stir-fry until aromatic and mix well to combine.
- Add the soy sauce, dark sweet soy sauce, and Shaoxing wine. Mix well to combine, then cover with the lid, lower the heat, and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Add the basil leaves and stir-fry with the chicken until the basil is wilted. Serve immediately.
