First and foremost I want to say that Listerine is a brand name and not exclusive to the information I will share with you. The four active ingredients found in mouthwash are present in the Dollar Tree Brand. The inactive ingredients are comparable as well. For Listerine to be able to claim they are above the rest, they use essential oils as their active ingredients with alcohol as the carrier. Note; essential oils need a carrier if you ingest them or apply them topically. However Listerine brand does have a product that contains no alcohol.

Although things are starting to open up, you may not feel comfortable going for a mani/ pedi. Use this Listerine mani/ pedi. Combine equal parts warm water, vinegar, and Listerine. Soak your feet for 30 minutes, the excess skin, callouses, and cuticle will literally slough off. An added benefit is Listerine kills toenail fungus.

When we get up in the morning the first thing we want to do is head to the bathroom, pee, and get rid of morning breath. I always say, true love is when you can turn to your partner in the morning, say good morning babe with a kiss and not be turned off by morning breath. After you freshen up ,before you spit that mouthwash down the drain consider freshening your toilet by disposing of it there. Spit your mouthwash into a cup, and then pour it into your toilet to freshen it.

Another use of mouthwash in your bathroom is to clean your toothbrush. At least weekly you should soak your toothbrush overnight in mouthwash. The same bacteria that mouthwash removes from your mouth, it will remove from your toothbrush. Also you need to replace your toothbrush once a month. If you use an electronic brush replace the head monthly.

Try mouthwash to clean your glass tables and windows versus Windex. Fill a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 mouthwash. Spray on glass tabletops and windows, wipe off with paper towels. Dispose of the paper towels that will retain the smell of the mouthwash in your trash can to be rid of foul smells.

Does your washer particularly if it is older, develop an odor? There is a solution, that is cheap and easy. Pour a cap full of Listerine in your washer, run the quick rinse with warm water. The result will be a fresh odor.

Flea season is coming! For those of you who have dogs or cats and want to eliminate fleas with no chemicals involved use mouthwash! Fill a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/12 mouthwash. Spray your per pet all over using the entire bottle. Bathe your after spraying. Not only your pet but you may benefit from topical application of mouthwash. For bug bites and even poison ivy exposure, apply mouthwash to the affected area with a cotton swab. It will ease the itching.

I have never been inclined to get a piercing other than my ears. These days folks are into multiple piercings anywhere and everywhere. After the piercing is healed use mouthwash as a cleanser. Dip a Qtip in the mouthwash to cleanse your piercings.

Have you ever gone on a trip or run out of deodorant at home? Mouthwash to the rescue! Dab mouthwash on a cotton swab and gently apply to your armpits! Odor problem resolved.

There are ways to decrease our exposure to chemicals in our every day life. Reducing exposure to chemical toxicity should be a priority in all of our lives. I am committed to sharing with you some ways you can accomplish that mission.

Until next time,

Love, Peace, and Blessings
