This easy to make dish is done in 30 minutes. 10 minutes to prep and 20 minutes to cook. This recipe serves 2-4 people depending on serving size.

INGREDIENTS

2 large sweet potatoes, peeled

1/2 tsp maple syrup

2 tsp high heat oil ( grape seed or pure olive oil)

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper ( substitute plain paprika if you can’t do spicy)

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Set oven to 425 F
  2. Cut your fries, lengthwise
  3. Toss fries with half of the spices and oil, place on a nonstick baking pan, do not use parchment paper, they will not get crispy.
  4. Drizzle the fries with oil and maple syrup. Sprinkle with remaining spices and salt evenly over the top.
  5. Bake 10 minutes, remove from the oven and with a spatula carefully flip the fries over. Bake another 10 minutes until the edges are lightly crisp.

I have made these several times since I found the recipe. You can serve with maple syrup on the side to dip them or they are delicious with smoky aioli.

A great easy side dish. Enjoy!!
