Crispy chicken without the hassle of frying it. This is basically a set it and forget it recipe. Very tasty, full of flavor from the spices. I have prepared this dish after marinating for 4 hours, and overnight. By far the overnight marination wins hands down!

6 bone in chicken thighs

1 tsp. dark brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp. paprika

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. salt , or to taste

1/2 tsp. pepper, or to taste

chopped chives for serving

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pat chicken thighs with paper towels
  2. Mix spices well and coat both sides of chicken
  3. Cover chicken with foil and refrigerate overnight, or for 4 hours
  4. Preheat oven to 300 F
  5. Remove chicken from fridge and let stand 10 minutes
  6. Bake covered chicken for 2 hours
  7. Remove from oven, reserve juices
  8. Turn oven to broil and broil chicken uncovered for 5 minutes
  9. Serve chicken with juices and chopped chives

  • Hey sis, I use all of these ingredients except the brown sugar. Will add and marinate over night to add to one of our favorite and easy meals.
