Here we go again, I can hear some of you saying that, however, my mission is to give the information that will help you achieve longevity and maintain your health. You are the leader of your destiny, it’s all about choices. My followers have seen my Blogs about the benefits of lemon water, better known as lemonade water to my GBabies, or cucumber water. Today I will share the health benefits of pineapple water.

The number one benefit of pineapple is an enzyme called bromelain which has anti-inflammatory properties. Bromelain goes to war with inflammation, which invades our tissues and organs, and rids the body of toxins. Drinking pineapple water or eating fresh pineapple daily can help reduce the pain of mild arthritis and sports injuries due to Bromelain.

If you are a woman who has ever experienced the contractions, cramping, and discomfort of fibroids, the anti-inflammatory benefits of pineapple may reduce that activity. Try juicing the pineapple or adding the juice to you water intake regularly for 2 to 3 weeks to relieve symptoms.

Seeking to lose weight? Pineapple is full of fiber which makes you feel full for a longer period of time, the thiamine found in pineapple increases your metabolism by converting carbohydrates into energy.

INFUSED PINEAPPLE WATER

NEED:

32 oz jar

2 pineapple spears 1″ x 4″

6-8 leaves of fresh mint

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place 2 pineapple spears in jar, and add 6-8 leaves of fresh mint.
  2. Fill jar with water and infuse in fridge for 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Strain and enjoy!

Enjoy this hydrating refreshing drink as an alternative to lemon water.
