I made this cake a few weeks ago but never posted the recipe. I have had requests to do so, here it is! A box cake turned into a moist scrumptious delight!
Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 55 minutes Total time: 1 hour 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 18 oz. devil’s food cake mix
- 1 5.9 oz instant chocolate pudding
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Combine first six ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix until incorporated
- Add chocolate chips; mix well
- Pour batter into a well-greased 12 cup bundt pan
- Bake 50-55 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean
- Cool cake thoroughly in pan (at least an hour and a half) before inverting onto serving plate.
- When ready to serve dust with powdered sugar
