I made this cake a few weeks ago but never posted the recipe. I have had requests to do so, here it is! A box cake turned into a moist scrumptious delight!

Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 55 minutes Total time: 1 hour 5 minutes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 18 oz. devil’s food cake mix
  • 1 5.9 oz instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Combine first six ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix until incorporated
  3. Add chocolate chips; mix well
  4. Pour batter into a well-greased 12 cup bundt pan
  5. Bake 50-55 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean
  6. Cool cake thoroughly in pan (at least an hour and a half) before inverting onto serving plate.
  7. When ready to serve dust with powdered sugar
